Mano Mundo aims to be an authentic world music festival. Its philosophy is a world where justice and social progress is in reach of everybody. North and South, now and forever.

Mano Mundo wants to make people aware of the millennium targets of the United Nations and to hopefully bring people closer to achieving these targets. In order to stimulate the impact of non-governmental organisations, Mano Mundo is a forum where these organisations can meet a large public. Therefore the North-South movement is a very important partner of the festival.

We shared our stand at Mano Mundo with GSM-provider Ello Mobile. Have a look at their website if you are not yet "ello"! Both projects attracted a lot of people. We had just arrived from Cambodia and were glad to talk about our recent adventures.

On Saturday we got help from our young KVC-members Benjamin and Marjolein. They handled out flyers and gave information about the organisation.
