 My name is Hea Antonissen. I arrived in Belgium in 1979 together with Ruan and a few other Cambodian children. I must have been about 6 years old. I am still searching for my family but it's very difficult because I can't remember the name of my village. Below is all the information that could be useful.

Description of the region of my family
We lived on the big Tonle Sap lake. Our home was not a pile-house but a floating house. In my memory, there were no roads or mountains in the neighbourhood. I only remember the water around us.
Traces
I have a big scar on my right ankle. This was caused when I was sitting on the back of my mother's bike. My ankle was pinched in the spokes of the bike. My mother would have never forgotten that. Under my right eye I have a little scar caused by my brother with his knife.
